it’s bad enough that lamb on a menu still called, well, lamb. It should be called something far less cute. but then to call them BABY lambs? ugh! it’s enough to make a girl burst into tears, grab the chef by the collar and say, where is your heart?!

got these dandelions using the macro setting on my canon sd 790. impressive! if your point-and-shoot camera has a little flower icon on it, that’s the macro setting, and it’s great for taking photos like this.

how GREAT is this? Part of Chick-fil-a’s ad campaign for their spicy chicken sandwich. I was so happy to take the picture I didn’t bother to see if you could actually pull the lever down in any way… which would, of course, be a fabulous detail.

I got this whopping big rebate check in the mail and thought it was funny. I wasn’t going to deposit it, but then I thought, maybe they’re banking on me NOT depositing it, maybe millions of people don’t deposit them, so billions of dollars are going down the tube while the company gets to say, “well, we sent out the rebates…” I realize this is lame and that it makes me sound like one of those people who doesn’t trust The Man. but there it is. and now I am, happily, 38 cents richer.
