I got this whopping big rebate check in the mail and thought it was funny. I wasn’t going to deposit it, but then I thought, maybe they’re banking on me NOT depositing it, maybe millions of people don’t deposit them, so billions of dollars are going down the tube while the company gets to say, “well, we sent out the rebates…” I realize this is lame and it makes me sound like one of those people who doesn’t trust The Man. But there it is. And now I am, happily, 38 cents richer.
