When someone tells me to “calm down,” it rarely works. In fact, it’s infuriating. But the phrase “remain calm…” well, that’s a whole different story.

I absolutely don’t understand the need for this sign. It’s on the bathroom at Ruby’s. Weird.

Been wondering where to park your car between 2 and 5 in the morning? Look no further… your problem is solved.

I wonder if this actually scares the birds away? My friend Mike Edwards took this shot… so fun!

Sometimes you see a sign like this, and you think it should be unnecessary… who picks up a SEAL? But if there’s a sign, there must be a reason. Makes me think of the signs at the Hoover Dam that warn people not to put their animal on the ledge. Yikes. Thanks, Linds for sharing [...]

I was at the Standard Hotel in LA a few weeks ago. The decor is artsy but a bit cheeky. I was surprised to see this unusually thoughtful sign outside of one of the elevators.

This sign is *almost* as disgusting to me as the sight of a dog actual doing his business. Blech. Thank you darling Rachel for today’s random picture!

hazardous bridge

I do realize there’s nothing amusing about having a terrible accident on a bicycle on a BRIDGE and falling head first onto a nasty pile of rocks. That said, this sign is somewhat humorous. Or maybe it’s just me.

odd encouragement

this is curious on a couple different levels. do panda bears ride rocking horses and play with orange soccer balls? I have no idea. and the actual definition of independent, which may have been inspiring in the original language, doesn’t translate so well here. another fab random photo from Rachel. thank you!
