when I was a kid I was intrigued by the mercury in the thermometer, and it took a lot of self control not to break the thermometer so I could play with the mercury. when I saw these water drops on my friend Ashley’s car, it’s the first thing I thought of.

this a bowl of water on my front sidewalk at sunset. oh, yeah, and I was splashing my hand around like a 2-year-old to make the waves. I’m in love with the image, and wish you could see it full size on my computer screen!
